Lash Family // Nashville, TN
When Nancy reached out to me for updated family photos, I was beyond excited! I last captured the Lash Family a few years ago when I lived in Stuart, Florida and we had a blast. So, when Nancy said they’d be in Nashville for Thanksgiving and asked if I could capture their family while here, I knew we just HAD to make it happen. Instead of facing Black Friday holiday crowds, we met up at a favorite trail outside of Nashville to make some memories, have some fun, and capture it all on camera! As anyone with little children knows, getting them to cooperate (especially for family photos) can be quite the challenge, so I made sure show up fully prepared with music, candy for bribing (with mom’s permission of course), and a fun new toy I found on Amazon called a shutter hugger, which is essentially a stuffed animal that I just popped around my lens to help keep the kids’ attention! Nancy’s daughter especially loved it and would ask to hold it as we walked to new locations along the trail (as you can see below).
